With amazing exhibitors, access to our advocates all with lived experience of the different routes available, and an unparalleled educational seminar programme, The Modern Family Show is the only event to attend when looking to start or grow your family.

This one-day boutique event is the only UK family creation show designed for the LGBTQ+ community (but accessible for everyone) informing attendees about UK, Canadian and some european family building options, inc Surrogacy and IVF/IUI, Adoption, Fostering, Co-Parenting, Fertility Preservation, Solo Parenting, and Egg/Sperm Donation.

Supported by Pride in London, Pink News, Gays With Kids & our nominated charity partner, Mermaids. We are committed to giving back to the local LGBTQ+ community and therefore we are donating 50% of all ticket sales to our charity partner.

DESIGNED AND MANAGED BY GAY PARENTS

Having an event completely designed around the needs of the LGBTQ+ and Queer community, is long overdue. Our founders (Michael and Wes) very own family building journey, and their passion for fighting for equitable access to fertility care, campaigning for UK law reform and improving family building options. Their passion and dedication have led them to create this unique family creation event in London, as well as San Francisco and Sydney, Australia. We’re proudly taking residency again for the second year running at 8 Northumberland, just off Trafalgar Square, London.

We’re confident that The Modern Family Show Expo has ambition to not only look and feel different, but with its uniquely marketed design and overall event objective were confident we will give both Intended Parents/Carers and Exhibitors an event to be proud of.

The Modern Family Show Expo has teamed up with some of the UK’s leading Social Media Parenting Influencers (our advocates) to act as the voice for their chosen family group and wider parenting community, to ensure they are represented and help promote the event on Facebook, Instagram and in their blogs to a targeted LGBTQ+ audience, something never attempted before in the US. Our advocates are all parents or parents to be, and whether that’s as a result of Fostering, Adoption, Trans-Parents, Co-parenting, Surrogacy or Sperm/Egg donation, we have one of the most authentic marketing campaigns ever attempted for a US LGBTQ+ and family building event.

We want everyone to achieve their dreams of family building, that’s why the show is about modern family building. The traditional way isn’t always possible with 1 in 6 heterosexual people in the UK impacted by infertility – this show is for you too.

EVENT HISTORY

The team at The Modern Family Show know all too well the issues and challenges faced when wanting to create a family; after all our team are all same sex parents themselves and have been on quite the journey to parenthood.

Their passion and dedication has led them to create this unique family creation event originally in the heart of central london in 2021 and due to it’s success it’s now coming to back to London for a second year running, plus San Francisco in October 2022 and Australia in April 2023.
